Customer Site Responsibilities

Before delivery, the customer is responsible for identifying potential obstacles or hazards, including:

• Narrow roads or driveways

• Low-hanging branches

• Overhead utility lines

• Underground utilities

• Septic systems

• Soft or unstable ground

• Steep grades

• Structures, fences, vehicles, or other obstructions

The customer is also responsible for obtaining any permits, approvals, permissions, zoning clearances, or other authorizations required for placement of the container on the property.

Icon Containers may decline or stop a delivery when conditions are unsafe or when the delivery cannot reasonably be completed without risk to people, equipment, property, or the container.

Additional delivery charges may apply when inaccurate site information, inadequate access, unsuccessful delivery attempts, or conditions outside the originally disclosed scope require additional time, equipment, or transportation.

Container Placement

The customer is responsible for determining where the container will be placed and for preparing an appropriate location.

The placement area should be reasonably level, stable, accessible, and capable of supporting the container and delivery equipment.

Icon Containers is not responsible for settling, shifting, drainage problems, site preparation deficiencies, or other conditions affecting the container after placement unless specifically agreed to in writing.

Inspection

Customers should inspect the container at delivery when reasonably possible.

Any concern involving an incorrect container, delivery damage, or another material issue should be reported promptly so Icon Containers can investigate the matter.
